Are VanStro cabinets plywood or particle board?
Plywood. Every VanStro kitchen cabinet and vanity box is ¾" plywood with melamine on both sides, and the shelves are ¾" cabinet-grade plywood with finished front edges. Doors are ¾" MDF Shaker doors wrapped in PVC thermofoil with a matte soft-touch finish; the glass-door wall cabinets use a frame of the same material and colour.
Do VanStro cabinets come assembled?
No. VanStro cabinets are ready to assemble (RTA): each one ships as flat panels with its door and hinges, or its drawer fronts and slides, and is assembled before installation. Assemble every cabinet before installation day, check that each box is square, and keep the hardware for each cabinet together. Tall and oven cabinets are easier to assemble with two people. What is the downside of RTA cabinets?
Each cabinet has to be assembled before it is installed, which adds work before installation day, and drawer bases take longer than door bases. In return, a flat-packed cabinet is easier to carry through narrow doorways and stairs, can be stocked closer to where it is sold, and a panel damaged in transit can be replaced on its own. Your dealer can quote assembly help and installation separately.
My wall is not a multiple of 3 inches. What do I do?
Add up the cabinet widths for the wall and subtract that total from the measured wall length. Close the difference with a 3" (F342) or 6" (F642) filler; tall runs use F396 or F696. VanStro cabinets come in the published sizes only, with no custom widths. If the gap does not divide into these widths, discuss it with your dealer before ordering.
What colours are available?
VanStro kitchen cabinets, vanities, fillers, panels and toe kicks come in White and Light Grey. Baseboard and casing are Putty White and paint-ready, not pre-finished to match the cabinets. Handles are Matte Black. Check against a physical sample when an exact match matters.
Can I paint VanStro cabinet doors?
They are not designed to be painted. The PVC matte soft-touch surface is applied and sealed at the factory and cannot be sanded and recoated. Choose White or Light Grey at the time of order. Baseboard and casing are the exception: they are sanded and paint-ready.
Do cabinets come with handles?
Yes. Each VanStro cabinet comes with a handle. The Matte Black CTC-96mm and CTC-192mm handles are also sold separately for extra doors and drawers or as replacements.
How do I work out the cost of a kitchen?
Each cabinet has one national price, shown on its product page and the same at every dealer. The total depends on the number and size of cabinets, drawer bases (which cost more than door bases of the same width), tall, oven and microwave cabinets, and the fillers, end panels, toe kick and moulding that finish the run. Delivery, site measurement, assembly help and installation are quoted separately by your dealer. Your local dealer offers a free 3D design that lists every piece before you buy.
How do pickup and delivery work?
Your selected local dealer confirms availability and arranges pickup or delivery. When the items are in stock at your dealer, pickup is usually ready the same day or the next day after you order. Prices on the site are national prices, the same at every dealer; any delivery charge and delivery timing are confirmed for your location after the order is placed.
