Is the trim primed?
No. VanStro baseboard and casing are finger-joint pine with a sanded, paint-ready Putty White surface. They are not primed and not pre-finished; apply primer and paint after installation.
Will the trim match my cabinets?
Not as delivered. The Putty White surface is prepared for paint and is not a pre-finished match to White or Light Grey cabinet doors. If the trim has to match, confirm the paint colour with your dealer before installation.
How should trim be stored before painting?
Keep it dry during storage and installation, and do not wipe it with a wet cloth before paint is applied; moisture can raise the grain and show through the finish coat.
