Order or review a physical sample when an exact colour match matters. Ask your local dealer for care guidance, any required preparation before painting, and compatibility with surrounding cabinets, trim and hardware.
Two cabinet colours
VanStro kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities are offered in White and Light Grey. These are the published colour options for this cabinet line. Other colours, stains or custom tints are not listed for these products. Do not match from a photo. Check against a VanStro sample.
Door finish
Doors are Shaker style with a PVC Matte Soft-Touch surface over ¾" MDF thermofoil. The matte texture is factory-applied, not a field-applied paint or an oiled wood finish. Sheen and colour come from that process. The surface cannot be sanded and recoated. The surface is opaque and sealed at the factory. Cleaning products will not change the colour or correct a sheen difference.
Box and drawer interiors. The cabinet box is ¾" plywood with double-sided melamine, and the drawer box is ⅝" plywood with a melamine finish. The box interior is melamine. It is not the PVC door face. When you compare a door sample to an open cabinet, expect a factory melamine surface, not the PVC soft-touch used on the door.
Baseboard and trim
VanStro baseboard and trim, when included in an order, are finger-jointed pine with a sanded, paint-ready putty-white surface. That surface is prepared for painting. It is not a pre-finished match to White or Light Grey cabinet doors. If you need the trim to match the cabinets, confirm the paint plan with your dealer before installation.
Hardware. Doors and drawers use DTC six-way adjustable soft-close hinges and drawer slides. Finish questions for the cabinet itself do not change that hardware specification; hinge and slide appearance should be checked on the product page for the model number you are ordering.
